The water heat recovery system takes all the heat from water that is flushed down the drain. Installation is very simple, all we do is replace the plastic waste pipe with a 150cm copper pipe. This pipe features copper coils wrapped around the pipe that transfers the heat back into the property's system. The heat is transferred because the expelled water clings to the side of a waste pipe when travelling down a drain.

The water from the pre-heat tank runs through the coils wrapped around the waste pipe; thus significantly increasing the temperature of the water being fed into your hot water tank. As the hot water tank is being fed warm water not cold, the cost of heating hot water is reduced by up to 50%, effectively doubling the size of your hot water supply.
