Heat Storage Cells

The Heat Storage Cells store heat in a paraffin gel, a method so efficient that it only loses one degree of heat every 18 hours. The system has a life expectancy of over 100 years, has no moving parts, no electrics, just a simple flow and return and can be installed hidden away under the garage floor.

With the addition of a solar panel, Greentec has designed a system that tops up the Heat Storage Cells during the day. Once charged these units can heat the hot water in the house and, quite uniquely, heat the house, something no one in the world has perfected. This could mean the Heat Pump will not even switch on for seven or eight months of the year, no running costs and no emissions.

Without using a solar panel, the Heat Pump can charge the energy storage system at night using cheap rate electricity, again very low running costs but constant hot water and heating.

Either of the methods above makes total sense for any new home, very safe, completely clean and virtually no running costs.
