This is the real secret behind the Greentec system, the controlling of all the different renewable technologies. Working closely with a heating control manufacturer we have designed a system that integrates all the different renewable energy systems together. This enables us to offer our unique heating and cooling solution, making use of renewable energy whenever possible in different parts of the house at the same time, below are a few examples of what the complete Greentec system can do.

Example 1/ In December when the house requires heating, our system will firstly try and heat the home using any free heat that’s been gained from the solar thermal panels and stored in our energy cells (if fitted). When all the heat has used then the heat pump starts keeping the home at the required temperature, this is completely automated with the indoor temperature controlled via a simple thermostat control in the room.

Example 2/ On a mid summer’s day the house starts to get warm, at a temperature set by the customer the control system asks for cooling, the first step is our comfort cooling this automatically comes on. This will give a gentle cooling to the whole home via the air entering though the heat recovery system vents (the heat recovery system will be on summer mode so the air leaving is not heating the air coming in), this works very well cooling the home on those hot sticky summer nights. If the temperature continues to rise then (if installed) the Air Conditioning comes on, firstly on a trickle speed, then should the temperature continue to rise to the second speed and finally the full Air Conditioning comes on, this is totally automated and the temperature is controlled on a room by room basis by the customer with the same simple thermostat control that controls the heating.

Example 3/ Whilst hosting a party on a chilly late September evening, the house may require heating in the bedrooms (this will be done using solar heat stored in our energy cells during the day), but at the same time need cooling in the dinning room (this will be done via our passive air conditioning), so our system is heating and cooling the home at the same time using the free energy that has been stored during the day.

The complete Greentec system is a fully automated heating and cooling system that will heat parts of the house and cool others at the same time and all from the renewable energy that’s been stored during the day. This gives the home a complete climate control system that costs pennies to run, emits zero pollutants, uses zero fossil fuels, and adds nothing to your carbon foot print.
