This is the real secret behind the Greentec System, the controlling of all the different renewable technologies. Working closely with a heating control manufacturer, we have designed a system that integrates all the different renewable-energy systems together. This enables us to offer our unique heating and cooling solution, making use of renewable energy whenever possible, in different parts of the house at the same time. Below are a few examples of what a complete all-options Greentec System can do:

Example 1/ In December when the house requires heating, our system will firstly try and heat the home using any free heat that’s been gained from the solar thermal panels and stored in our energy cells. When this source is exhausted, then the Heat Pump kicks in to keep the home at the required temperature. This changeover is automatic; the indoor temperature is controlled via a simple thermostat .

Example 2/ On a mid-summer day, the house starts to get warm. At a temperature set by the customer, the Control System asks for cooling; the first step is our Comfort Cooling, which automatically switches on. This will give a gentle cooling to the whole home as fresh, filtered air is circulated into the living ares (the Heat Recovery System will be on Summer mode, so extracted air is not heating the incoming air). This works very well, cooling the home on those hot sticky summer nights. If the temperature continues to rise, the Air Conditioning comes on, firstly on a trickle speed, then, should the temperature continue to rise, to the second speed, and finally the full Air Conditioning comes on. This all happens automatically; temperature is controlled on a room by room basis with the same simple thermostat control that controls the heating.

Example 3/ Whilst hosting a party on a chilly late September evening, the house may require heating in the bedrooms (the system will use the solar heat stored in our energy cells during the day), but at the same time need cooling in the dinning room (passive air conditioning switches in for that room only) -so our system is heating and cooling the home at the same time using free energy that has been stored during the day.

The complete Greentec System is a fully automated, highly flexible heating and cooling system that utilises the renewable energy that’s been stored during the day. This gives the home a complete climate control system that costs pennies to run, emits zero pollutants, uses zero fossil fuels, and adds nothing to your carbon foot print.
