Just like your fridge the by-product of creating heat is coolant. A heat pump can create coolness in abundance so during the summer months why not use this coolant to cool the fresh air supply through your ventilation system. This is known as passive cooling and all it costs is the price of running a circulation pump. Greentec have sourced a pump that costs less than 4 pence a day to run, to supply cooled air to your house. You notice this feature most during those sweltering summer months when you are trying to sleep in temperatures of 16ºC+.
When passive cooling is not sufficient to cool your property on the very hot days, we can use the Heat Pump to create more coolant. Using a further piece of equipment this can all be automated, keeping the property at its ideal temperature all year round. |
