Atercare for your Greentec System

Launched in January 2009, Greentec's Maintenance Service aims to ensure that installed systems run at optimum performance and with maximum reliability and longevity.

Initial system care
If any problems occur during the first year of owner operation of a Greentec System, all parts and labour costs are met by Greentec. In addition, after the system has been running for 6 months, we will arrange to visit and replace all air filters and to check - and if necessary adjust - all parts of the system. This visit is uncharged .

Subsequent care
After the first year's operation, owners register for one of 3 different levels of aftercare service, summarised opposite.

Owners should note that, in particular, their Greentec System's Air Handling Unit needs regular maintenance. Left untouched, its filter will inevitably will eventually block, affecting the flow of air into the building - the result will be a stuffy atmosphere, probably accompanied by condensation appearing on windows.

Choose the level of care that suits you best

Standard Cover Service

  • An initial ‘system’ check of the installation as the agreement comes into force.
  • Access to the Greentec Help Desk for free guidance and advice on the running of your system.
  • A high proportion of enquiries are resolved on the telephone; those that require a Greentec Engineer to attend are responded to with a target Engineer-to-Site time of 3 Business Days from receipt of call.
  • Access to the Greentec Engineer Call-Out Service; service visits are chargeable at current rates (which are £75.00 call-out fee, plus, during Normal Business Hours, £50 per hour, or £75.00 per hour outside of Normal Business Hours).
  • Any parts required are chargeable at Invoice plus 25%. Replacement Air Handling Unit filters are set annually on a pre-agreed date. Fitting is to be carried out by Greentec Engineers at the prescribed rate in your agreement.

Enhanced Cover Service

You will receive all the benefits of the Standard Cover as per above, plus

  • Two annual service visits to check the system and undertake any routine maintenance work as per the schedule below. These visits will be made at 6-monthly intervals, the first being 3 months after the system check detailed in item 2.1 above (thereafter two visits approximately 6 months apart)
  • Annual Filter change on either of the visits, as appropriate, but charged annually within the ENHANCED SERVICE AGREEMENT cost.
  • All general consumables needed on each visit (such as cleaning material, antifreeze, inhibitor, solarfluid etc.) are included in this agreement.
